  • Both parties can communicate via anonymized phone numbers and chat

We share data with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf:

6. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

6.1 Access and Portability

You have the right to access your personal information and receive a copy in a portable format. You can download your data from your account settings or contact us at privacy@groundvoy.com.

6.2 Correction and Updates

You can update most of your information directly through the app or website. For information you cannot update yourself, contact our support team.

6.3 Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal data. Note that some information may be retained for legal, safety, or business purposes even after deletion. To delete your account, use the in-app feature or contact privacy@groundvoy.com.

6.4 Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link or adjusting preferences in your account settings. You can opt out of SMS marketing by replying STOP. Note that you will still receive transactional messages related to your rides.

6.5 Location Services

You can control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location services will limit your ability to use certain Platform features, particularly ride booking and navigation.

6.6 Cookies and Tracking

You can control cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality. We use cookies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and advertising.

7. REGIONAL PRIVACY RIGHTS

7.1 European Union (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR:

Groundvoy operates globally, and your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK to other countries, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or other legally approved mechanisms.

By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Platform is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
